Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has formally launched the country’s first elevated railway track project. The 6-km track costing about Rs 315 crore, slated to be completed in 18 months, will come up on the Rohtak-Panipat line. A road would be constructed in place of the existing railway track. The Chief Minister announced to give Rs 8 crore to the Railway Board for its construction.
