Healthcare and government services at doorstep, a priority of Government
Providing quality health services to the people of the state nearer to their homes was the main objective of the state government said CM after inaugurating the free multi-specialty health camp organised by the State Health and Family Welfare Department at Chamiyana near Shimla . Govt. announced opening up of a primary health centre in the Chamiyana panchayat and setting up of a cold store in the panchayat for floriculture and off-seasonal vegetables.
The Jan Manch had been started with an objective to redress the grievances of the people nearer to their homes. The Himachal Pradesh Grihani Suvidha Yojana had been launched to provide gas connection with cylinder and stove to every household.
Jan Manch Programme :
Amid Himachal Pradesh Government’s miserable state of public grievance redressal services, the State Government informed here today that in order to bring more efficiency in administration and ensuring good governance, the Government will be organizing ‘ Jan Manch ‘ programmes across the state.This programme will be launched from Peterhoff in Shimla .
Jan Manch programmes will be organised in remote areas of every district where Ministers will be present along with officers of all departments. They will hear the problems of people and try to resolve issues on the spot.
The main objective of this programme is to bridge the gap between people and government and to redress the grievances of the people at their doorsteps.
It will reduce the labour and efforts of people of remote areas who travel long distances to reach district and state headquarters for getting various services.
Grihini Suvidha Yojana :
Poor families who have left the Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme will also be able to get free gas connections. For this, the state government has started the Himachal Housing Benefit Scheme. District Food Supply Controller Purushottam Singh said that any poor family affected or family affected by natural calamities who have no gas connections can avail the scheme. No member of the applicant's family should be government-semi government servant or government pensioner. No member of the family should be the registered contractor of the income tax payer or government agency. The application for the scheme can be obtained from the concerned Gram Panchayat Secretary or Executive Officer of the Municipal Body. Eligible consumers wishing for free gas connections can fill up these applications and complete all the formalities and submit to the Gram Panchayat Secretary or the Executive Officer of the city body. The concerned panchayat secretary or executive officer of the city body will send the list of eligible people to the District Food Supply Control Office. The applications can also be downloaded from the department's website. For more information, contact can be made in District Food Supply Control Office, Gram Panchayat or Municipal Body Office.
HP Anubhav Yojana (Digital Health) – Book Appointment with Doctors from Home :
Himachal Pradesh govt. has launched Anubhav Yojana in Kullu district on 4 September 2018. Under this scheme, all the citizens can now Book Appointment with Doctors Online even while sitting at their home. This would be done on the basis of a Token System and people can fix their timings to meet doctors easily.
MAA Programme 2018 – Mother’s Absolute Affection Scheme :
Himachal Pradesh govt. has launched Mother’s Absolute Affection Scheme for pregnant and lactating mothers. Mother’s Milk in the first hour of birth and exclusive breastfeeding for first 6 months thereafter is very important for children well being. MAA Programme 2018 under National Health Mission will create awareness in the general public and this breastfeeding programme.
Nutrition Scheme in Himachal Pradesh for HIV Positive Children :
Himachal Pradesh govt. has launched Nutrition Scheme for HIV Positive children. Under this scheme, all the youths up to 18 years of age will get nutrition supplements to boost their immunity. Accordingly, all the children who are tested positive for HIV can avail the benefits of this scheme. This scheme will enable to HIV affected children.
Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme (SCHIS) : The state government of Himachal Pradesh Government is implementing the Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme (SCHIS) in the state. The objective of this insurance scheme is to provide easy access to various health services by providing an insurance cover to all senior citizen (above the age of 60 years).
Electronic Health Card Scheme
The govt. of Himachal Pradesh has launched “Electronic Health Card Scheme” in the state. The vision of scheme is to provide ‘LIVEWIRE’ that connect patients and their family members with the hospitals for cure of diseases.
