Suppose you are a clerk who works in an office that has responsibility for processing same gotra marriage licenses in a district in Haryana. You feel strongly from a religious/traditional perspective that same gotra marriages are immoral. Do you have an obligation as civil servant to issue the licenses? Or, does this violate your conscience to the point that you refuse to do it?
