Paradise Papers: What The Investigation Reveals About The Indian Corporates In Secret Tax Havens

 The biggest leak ever of financial data revealed names of 714 Indians in the tally. Among the 180 countries represented in the data, India ranks 19th in terms of the number of names. The Indian Express team investigated records for over 100 Indian names and entities over a period of 10 months. A bulk of the records investigated are from Bermuda law firm Appleby. Unlike Panama Papers, these leaks are more about mega corporates than individual players and how they took advantage of tax havens.
