This video gives the audience a critical analysis of University Grant Commission. The UGC was in news recently as the government has introduced the 'Higher Education Commission of India Bill 2018' which will scrap the old institution of UGC and put in place the newer institution of HECI. The scrapping is based on certain criticism of UGC which have been duly covered in the video. In the second video we will talk about the proposed Higher Education Commission of India.
